Are you a people-person? Enjoy greeting & assisting others? Information Ambassadors volunteer to greet & assist visitors to the Neil Combee County Administration Center, headquarters for the Polk County Board of County Commissioners. Additionally, Ambassadors may assist offices with assembling information packets, re-stocking lobby booklets & brochures & keeping area neat & tidy, display meeting notices on lobby bulletin board or occasionally make phone calls to update information lists. Ambassadors may choose a morning shift, 9 a.m. - 12 noon or an afternoon shift 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. This is a great way to meet others and become more familiar with your County government!
