You will make a difference in peoples’ lives.
You can do your hours all on your time
You will help out in the office or you can be a friend to someone or you can do both
Patients tell us they can use a friend, you will be that friend to stop by and say hello; to laugh with them, to listen to them with an open heart. In the office we tell the story, treatment, medications, services each patient received, volunteering in the office you would help with that.

Description
Hospice is a comprehensive program of medical care designed to address the physical , emotional and spiritual needs of patients with life-limiting illnesses and to provide support services for their family members. This care is provided by skilled, compassionate health care professionals and trained volunteers in the comfort of patient's homes, as well as nursing homes and special in-patient facilities. One of the primary objectives of hospice care is to help patients and family members be as comfortable as possible so they can truly live all the days of their lives.
