ORGANIZATION: CASA of Sedgwick County

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) monitors and follows a child's case through the court system, providing a consistent voice to speak up for the best interests of his/her assigned child, helping to ensure the child's placement into a secure, supportive and permanent home. Volunteers stay with the children until they are placed in loving permanent homes. For many abused children, a CASA volunteer offers a needed constant adult presence in their lives.
