Are you looking to share your social media talents with a fabulous nonprofit? Project HEAL is looking for a saavy, experienced volunteer to take our social media presence to the next level. A great candidate will have either demonstrated social media experience, actively participating in a wide variety of social media platforms (particularly Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram) and/or the excitement and drive to learn how to enhance the on-line presence of Project HEAL.

Responsibilities -

• Assist with the social media strategy to increase visibility, membership and traffic for Project HEAL
• Implement and manage social media programs, including Google , Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, Pinterest, and YouTube, among others
• Actively engage with our online community; respond quickly and consistently
• Target potential advocates for campaigns
• Monitor trends in social media tools and applications
• Work in tandem with staff to keep website updated and linked to social media efforts
• Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts

Experience - the ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Proficiency in all social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google
• Networking and building relationships
• Knowledge of WordPress and/or GoogleAdwords, a plus
• Multi-tasking with online activity; mastering shortcuts and working efficiently
• Experience running social media fundraising or crowdsourcing campaign a plus
