Our Family Strengthening program focuses on working with families to create strong networks and healthy habits through classes, activities, and more. These programs engage children and parents in building their Five Protective Factors and solidifying strong and healthy families. Programs for parents and caregivers include support groups and classes that teach a variety of useful skills such as eating on a budget, child development, parenting, and much more. The support groups are parent-led, confidential and unbiased, providing a safe and secure environment for parents and caregivers to meet. Children can engage in activities promoting early education, school readiness and building social skills.

A volunteer has opportunities to help in adult or child classes, handing out needed items to participants, organizing in kind donations, data entry, or preparing lunch for participants.
