The Placentia Library District is looking for teens to assist with our Summer Reading Program!

How Do I Become a Volunteer?

It is easy; all you need to do is complete the following steps:

1.Complete a volunteer application

Applications are available at www.placentialibrary.org. Click on the volunteer page and please note you will need a Placentia or Anaheim Library Card to complete the application.

2. Attend a Volunteer Orientation

Teen summer volunteers must attend a special Summer Teen Volunteer Orientation and Training on either Wednesday, June 6 from 6-8pm, Sunday, June 12 from 2-4pm or Wednesday, July 6 from 10am-12pm. Orientations are held in the Placentia Library Community Meeting Room.

Description

The Placentia Library District seeks to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Our library offers a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

The Placentia Library District is very proud of its talented and dedicated volunteers. With the guidance and support of the Library staff, volunteers extend the reach of the Library. We hope you will join us!
