Butterfly Grove

The After-School Program at Butterfly Grove Apartments is desgined for youth in grades K-6. Butterfly Grove is an affordable housing community where all of the residents are low income individuals and families. The kids at Butterfly Grove have limited access to outside resources that can become expensive. By providing the kids a program that is available at their doorstep we can assist them in achieving their academic goals.

If you are someone who is passionate about working with underprivileged youth populations this is the opporunity for you! We give our volunteers creative freedom when it comes to their roles - as long as it meets our program requirements. You can set your own schedule, because we understand life can get a little hectic.

Volunteers are responsible for assisting the kids with their homework, helping them with basic computer use, and facilitating occasional miscellaneous projects.

Volunteers who do an exceptional job in fulfilling this postion have a potential to be hired to execute these and additional programming responsibilites.
