Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
Our wonderful volunteers put in over 3500 hours a year, giving informative tours, helping with our education and literacy programs and running our Gift Shop. Join our wonderful volunteer staff by giving as little as 3 hours a month. Work with a great group of people, meet visitors from around the world, have opportunities to participate in our special events and earn reward point towards gift shop merchandise.
Volunteers are trained to provide guided tours of the historic home and work in the gift shop.
We are open from 10-5 Tues through Sat and 2-5PM Sun. Shifts are 3 hours (10:30AM-1:30PM) or (1:30PM-4:30PM). You can work once a month, once a week or whenever your schedule allows.

The mission of the George W. Bush Childhood Home is to express and interpret the history of one of America’s great families by telling the story of the Bush Family and the childhood of George W. Bush in Midland, Texas, and celebrating the lives of two presidents, two governors, and two first ladies.
The George W. Bush Childhood Home is truly a unique place in American history. Home to two Presidents, two Governors and a First Lady, this remarkable 1950s restoration gives visitors a unique perspective of the Bush family and their legacy, insight into the restoration of this modest home and provides an interesting view of life in 1950s Midland.
We'll work with your schedule.
