With nearly 19,000 Arizona children in the foster care system, there is a significant need for individuals and families willing to provide care for these children, many of whom come into care with a history of trauma and have a range of behavioral and/or emotional needs.

Devereux Arizona is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming licensed to provide therapeutic foster care for children in need of loving, stable homes and who are currently enrolled in behavioral health services.

Children in therapeutic foster homes typically range from 5 to 17 years of age and, on average, remain in a therapeutic home for 8-10 months.

Therapeutic foster parents recieve a monthly reimbursement to cover the costs of associated with each foster child in their care (food, clothing, school trips, etc.)

To find out more about becoming a therapeutic foster parent, please contact us at (520) 576-5801 or at outreachaz@devereux.org.
