If you have 2 hours to give once each week, please consider volunteering at a local meal site as a meals on wheels driver.
The purpose of SeniorCare's Meals on Wheels Program is to allow senior citizens to maintain their independence by remaining in their own home while providing a hot, nutritious noontime meal Mondays - Fridays. Meals on Wheels drivers are ordinary people who make an extraordinary difference!
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to elders living in the following communities: Beverly, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Rockport, Topsfield and Wenham.
To engage persons 55 and older in volunteer service, using their experience, wisdom and skills to meet their communities' critical needs, and in doing so, improve the quality of life for both volunteers and communities.
