Our Food Pantry serves around 2000 households every month through Food Distribution Programs at our facility. The program provides food boxes put together by the volunteer team on the days of distribution. Food Box Volunteers are needed for this program.

Hours for food preparation and distribution are:

Monday preparation phase 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
distribution phase 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (client contact)

Wednesday preparation phase 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
distribution phase 2:00pm - 6:00 pm (client contact)

Saturday preparation phase 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
distribution phase Noon - 4:00 pm (client contact)
(Except Federal Holidays)

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to see firsthand the impact their time spent serving makes to these families. The food boxes typically weigh about 100 pounds and are distributed to an eligible family once per month. We are proud to offer recurring spots or just once to anyone interested in serving with us. Organizations with volunteer teams of 6 work well in this spot.

*This program is ideal for someone who has no major physical limitations. There is occasional moderate lifting (box of fruit/bread, etc), most positions at this food line require standing for the majority of the shift.
