The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.
Our Family Stores need the help from volunteers in our stock rooms sorting, hanging clothes, tagging and stocking to ready for the sales floor. Ability to work on your feet is needed. You can volunteer a few hours a month or a few hours a week or more. It's up to you. Every little bit helps! We will gladly work out a flexible schedule with you!
Individuals and groups welcome!
Contact: Ali Scavullo at (706)434-3185 or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information on how to sign up to volunteer with us.
The proceeds from our Family Stores help with our many programs at The Center of Hope located at 1384 Greene St. where we have our Soup Kitchen (365 days a year), Women/Women and Children's Shelter, Men's Emergency Shelter and a nine month Drug/Alchol Rehabilitation Program for men which is free service.
