Charlotte Maxwell seeks Volunteer Community Acupuncturists!
The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic is a state licensed free clinic and 501c(3) non-profit organization that provides free complementary integrative medicine treatments and safety net social services to low-income women with cancer. It is a special place where women undergoing the terrible rigors of cancer and poverty will be touched with kindness, compassion and skill. But more than that, it has become a community that works to minimize the isolation of living with a life-threatening disease.
After a successful Charlotte Maxwell Community-Style Acupuncture Pilot Program in San Francisco, we are excited to announce the launch of this same program in Oakland! As with everything we do here at the clinic, the success of this program will depend on your involvement and commitment. The program will be an adjunct to our usual individualized treatments, in an effort to increase our capacity to serve more of our wonderful clients.
This innovative program is your opportunity to help expand on the vision of our founding mothers, by laying the groundwork for new and innovative ways to serve CMC’s remarkable clients. Join us in expanding the reach of the number of women we are able to serve. Please contact Kris Waller for more information and to sign up for an orientation!
Next training is November 5th! You receive 9 CEUS free!!!
