Description
Intern interested in public relations field with excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details.
Responsibilities- Monitor all forms of media
- Schedule and coordinateengagements, appearances, photo shoots, and other special events
- Write press releases and other materials
- Assist with mailings, print production
- Experience with creatives and adobe professional and other document creation platforms
- Compile contact lists
- Search for press clippings
- Create or update databases
- Cultivate strategic partnerships
Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism or have equivalent experience. Applicants should also have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of social media. Only interns proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications should apply. Adobe Creative experience a must.

AFC+A and its main four programs, the annual Americas Latino Eco-Festival ALEF (leveraging the arts and Latino leadership for conservation gains) Mandel Vilar Press MVP (advancing diversity and conservation in publishing), United Cultures for Arts + Nature Youth Ambassadors U-CAN (growing the next generation of diverse eco leaders), Latina Environmental Giving Circle LEGC (powering Latina environmental stewardship) aim at environmental and multicultural education and a diverse, non segregated, and inclusive conservation agenda.
