Photographer Needed for Program and Fundraising Events!

Words Alive is looking to work and build a relationship with a unique volunteer who has professional photography experience to capture our annual fundraiser, and to work with us throughout the year to capture other events within our programs (book giveaways, reading campaigns, volunteer appreciation, scholarship student awards, art shows, etc.).

This is a great opportunity to build your professional portfolio and to partner with the leading literacy nonprofit of San Diego County, and to work for a great cause.

Volunteer application and background check required. We would love to meet with you to review your past events and shoots. Volunteer must be professional in nature, punctual, communicative, and prompt.

Our upcoming events for photographic documentation include:

August 21st from 5-7pm Scholarship Student Award Ceremony
September 15th from 9am-1pm Annual Author's Luncheon and Fundraiser
October - May photograph classrooms, school and special events as needed throughout the community
