You can inspire young people to experience the realities and opportunities of the new global marketplace through Junior Achievement. JA, the nonprofit leader in providing innovative financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship education, needs volunteers to take career- and life-skills mentoring into local classrooms.

See an example of the impact you could generate.

Volunteers need enthusiasm and a willingness to share their experience. The time commitment is three 2 hour visits the week of December 12th. Volunteers will teach 2 sessions of the JA Our Region program over a period of 3 days (Monday - 12th, Wedensday - 14th, and Friday - 16th).

Training and JA program materials will be provided.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for students which focus on three key content areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Today, 129 individual area operations reach more than four million students in the United States, with an additional 5.7 million students served by operations in 122 other countries worldwide.
