Love soccer? Want to share the joy of the game with underserved kids in central Brooklyn? Join us for this exciting opportuntiy to create a brand new league for youth who need it in Crown Heights!
We need players to coach kids ages 3 and up and help lead teams with our first uniforms for ages 5 and up.
Help empower youth and their families to get active in a neighborhood with limited to no healthy options in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Help us build the first-ever youth Crown Heights Soccer League with uniforms for each team!
Seeking anyone who can play soccer or support the program from September to Thanksgiving on weekends - Saturdays and Sundays. Thursday evenings also possible.
Have fun, play ball, make a difference.
Attn, Students! Yes, we give community service credits.
Our program started in 2009 just to get kids active. Now, we want to build a league. Kids love it, but don't know the game so we need your help.
We're also seeking LEAD COACHES, who can set up schedules and organize volunteers and parents. Great experience. Recommendation letters given.SCHEDULE - SEPT. 9 - NOV. 19 (WEEKEND BEFORE THANKSGIVING)SATURDAY, SEPT. 9 AND SUNDAY, SEPT. 10:OPEN FIELD, TRY-OUTS AND TOURNAMENTS SEPT. 16-NOV. 19

  • SATURDAYS, 1 PM - 3 PM
  • SUNDAYS, 4 PM - 6 PM
INFO:No coaching experience needed. Just love of the game and able to collaborate with others. Of course, we'd love it if you have experience... Practices are co-ed, and players range from 3 to 12 years old and are at beginner to intermediate level. If we have enough players, will create boys and girls only teams for ages 10 and up.. If youi're self-motivated, love kids and are good with them, can handle the unexpected, and just love this game and want to share it, you're for us. Looking for reliable and flexible players who can commit to at least 2 practices. This is a great community service opportunity for high school and college students. Yes, we do give letters and service hours. WE ASK VOLUNTEERS TO COMMIT TO AT LEAST 2 TIMES ON THE FIELD. If you aren't able to coach, but still want to help, we need folks to:
- advertise with flyers, post flyers, drop off flyers at schools and community areas - blast on social media - take attendance and register players - other administrative tasks Please send us information about you- a resume or some information on your background so we get to know you a little to
