CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers provide court advocacy for abused and neglected Will County children involved with Will County's juvenile court system.
Each CASA volunteer has responsibility for one child or one sibling group. CASA volunteers serve as the eyes and ears of the judge; investigating the child's living situation, gathering facts and reviewing documents and then submitting a report to the court detailing their findings and making fact-based recommendations. Advocates meet monthly with the children they are assigned to work with. CASA volunteers are the child's voice in court.
