Napa County Library’s Literacy Center offers tutoring in reading and writing to adult learners. Prior experience in not required. Tutor training provided to cover techniques for teaching adults to read and write, as well as specific strategies for helping learners reach their personal goals. "Tutoring changed a life... mine," says Georgia, a volunteer in the library literacy program for many years. "I met people I would have never met otherwise. I love to be part of those light bulb moments!" Be part of the light to end illiteracy volunteer as an adult tutor.
