VisionTrust Volunteer Opportunities:
- I. LEAVE PHONE MESSAGES
- Help us thank our financial donors! Leave voicemails thanking our donors for their recent contributions.
- Help us thank our child sponsors! Leave voicemails thanking our sponsors for their recent sponsorships.
(We don’t make phone calls asking for donations.)
- II. COMPUTER WORK
- In our computer data base, enter new addresses and address changes
- In our computer data base, enter information on child profiles indicating sponsor letters sent/received
- Using letter templates, type in information on correspondence
- Data clean-up in our computer data base
- III. CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES
- For writers, help us create descriptive paragraphs about the children available to be sponsored, and for the older children who are eligible to enter our Higher Education Leadership Program
- Handwrite cards for donations received in honor of or in memory of someone
- IV. HANDS ON, ORGANIZING
- Help count and log in donations of clothes and school supplies, label storage bins and store them in an organized way in our storeroom. Help pack suitcases with donated items for our staff who travel to our programs.
- Help organize our walk-in storeroom where we have shelves full of different types of envelopes, boxes of papers, printed materials, office supplies, mailing supplies, etc.
- Occasional need for stuffing, sealing and stamping envelopes for small mailings
- V. FRONT DESK/RECEPTION
- Greet visitors, receive deliveries from USPS/UPS/FEDEX/Vendors, notify staff of visitors arriving for appointments.
- VI. READ CHILD LETTERS
- Ongoing need for help reading through child sponsorship letters for quality control
Volunteer positions can be comprised of several of the categories listed above, based on the volunteer’s interests and the work we have available.
VisionTrust is a growing group of people with a passion to love the neediest
children around the world. By providing thoughtful interventions like safe
water, nutritious food, health care, spiritual mentoring and education,
together we can end the cycle of poverty and see these children live for
God and love others.

Our mission is to develop orphaned and neglected children into mature Christians equipped to live in their own culture. We do this by enabling Christian nationals to meet the physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs of these children through Learning Centers, Transitional Homes and schools.
Description
VisionTrust is a growing group of people with a passion to love the neediest children around the world. Many of these children are hungry, abused, sick, neglected, or ignored. We strive to meet these crucial needs, but we don’t stop there. We know children have an even greater need: the need to be loved. As you partner with VisionTrust, you will not only be a part of providing things like food, medical care, and schooling, you will be a part of bringing love to children in desperate need of help, the next generation of leaders who will one day change their country.
