Job Description:

Human Health Project is looking for a volunteer UX/UI Designer to help lead the strategic build out of our new website. You will be working directly with the lead UX Director along with the Development team and Marketing teams. This position is suitable for entry to mid level candidates who are self starters interested in working with and guiding other team members through the implementation of their creative vision.

Responsibilities
1. Help design HHP's responsive user interfaces while taking inspiration from the desktop experience
2. Design wireframes and high-fidelity mockups using Sketch, Axure, Balsamiq or any other wireframing tools
3. Work cross-functionally with marketing and development while understanding and clarifying requirements
4. Ability to work comfortably with a graphic designer as well as front-end developers
5. Be open to receiving constructive feedback from the team and our stakeholders


Requirements
1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience with web design
2. Proficiency with wireframing software (Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, Balsamiq, etc)
3. No need to be a graphic designer, but a keen eye for design always helps!
4. Ability to communicate designs to technical developers and help guide them through implementation
5. Self starter within keen on continual self improvement

Bonus Skills (Not required but could be beneficial)
1. Twitter Bootstrap
2. Basic HTML, CSS, Javascript
3. Illustrator
4. Ability to conduct and integrate feedback from user testing
5. Experience and/or background in healthcare domain is a plus

Candidates will be expected to present portfolio of their work or a collection of work samples.
