Gift Shop Volunteers needed!
We are looking for a volunteer on Tuesday mornings from 10am-1pm to assist visitors in the Whistle Stop Gift Shop.
Attendants are asked to greet visitors and collect demographic data, process shop sales on a computer, and share basic historical information with guests. Sometimes, we have many guests, other times we are slow and attendants are welcome to bring books, crafts, or other projects. Occasionally, staff may have clerical work for gift shop volunteers to assist with as well. Helping in the gift shop means that you are helping the Historical Village raise funds for various programs and historic preservation at the Village.

Description
Manatee Village Historical Park preserves and shares the heritage of Manatee County through our museum exhibits and collection of historical and replica buildings set on nearly four acres under the shade of several two hundred-year-old oak trees. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds are immersed in the history of local pioneers and can learn about the challenges and triumphs of their daily lives. Manatee Village Historical Park also promotes historical education through outreach programs, onsite children's activities, lectures on topics of historical significance, special events, and more!
