Would you like to share your organizational and accounting skills to help us to help the horses? Red Bucket is actively looking for a Jr. Accountant to assist in managing our financial obligations. The Jr. Accountant is an entry-level position reporting to the CFO.

Skills:

• Mathematical aptitude
• Organized and detailed
• Proficient in word and excel
• Quickbooks experience preferred
• Analytical ability
• College degree experience in accounting is desirable

Duties would include:

• Make bank deposits, provide copies of checks to CFO & Database Manager
• Cash handling and reporting for Visitor Center
• Manage Drop in the Bucket program (monthly donation program)
• Track In-Kind donations, ensure donors receive tax receipts
• Follow up (as directed by CFO) with vendors, volunteers, donors
• Prepare checks for President to sign, ensure appropriate backup documentation
• Enter invoices into Quickbooks
