We are seeking volunteers 16 years of age or older for all aspects of animal socialization including dog walking and cat care. Volunteers help with cleaning, help during special events, and assist with the day to day aspects of the Pet Adoption Center. There is no minimum time requirement and volunteers can volunteer any time the Pet Adoption Center has operations hours: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
All volunteers must wear a mask when inside the building and be fully vaccinated against COVID

Description
Saint Louis County Animal Pet Adoption Center and Animal Care and Control has a big job, to ensure that pets and people live together in safety and harmony and that all pets receive proper care and housing. As part of your Health Department, Animal Control Officers are in action every day, handling many routine as well as emergency situations with pets and wild animals. As a Pet Adoption Center Adoption and Kennel staff work hard to find homes for homeless pets and ensure their stay at the shelter is a pleasent one.
