During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Many people at the end of their lives are unable to go out and see their friends and do the hobbies they loved so much. If you become a Hospice Volunteer, you can go to them! No matter where they live or how much they are still able to do, people on hospice benefit from the friendly presence of volunteers. You will receive free orientation and training and will be able to meet patients to read, share stories, listen to music, provide respite for family members. Your companionship and caring presence ensures that patients spend the end of their life in dignity and comfort. Brookdale Hospice has many other locations in Fort Worth and surrounding cities. Training and orientation will be arranged to fit to your schedule.

Our Mission Statement is simple but powerful: Enriching the lives of those we serve with compassion, respect, excellence and integrity.
Life is much more than physical health; it is also the dignity of the human spirit. When physical health begins to fail, the nurturing of the spirit becomes increasingly important. Hopsice care is a service that aids the transition between living and dying by providing respect, care, comfort, and support to patients and families.
Brookdale Hospice volunteers provide important support to the care of our patients and families.
Brookdale Hospice serves primarily residents at Brookdale Senior Living communities and the surrounding neighborhoods. We are CHAP accredited and a member of the NHPCO.
