Our fast growing nonprofit is looking for a stellar, volunteer to lead HR and recruiting.

GreatNonprofits’ is the leading website that helps millions of Americans get inspired and informed about how to get involved in social causes. We are also a nonprofit and rely on many volunteers. We seek to recruit volunteers with experience in marketing, writing, UX, product management, and marketing.

The Director of Human Resources will ensure appropriate recruitment, placement and retention of skilled, mid-career volunteers.

Responsibilities:

* Source and build candidate pipelines for marketing, engineering, and business development volunteers.

* Works closely with executive staff to identify and recruit for specific volunteer needs and activities

* Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels, and internal referrals to provide high quality candidates for open volunteer positions

* Interview and screen candidates to determine skill sets and career goals

* Coordinate volunteer recognition and retention processes

Qualifications:

* Must have a passion for our mission to help people get informed and inspired to help nonprofits

* BA/BS degree or equivalent

* 5 to 7 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in recruiting/HR

* Strong interest in technology
