We are a hosice looking for Veterans to serve other veterans. Many times our veterans have issues regarding their military expereince. They do not want to talk to a lay person about it. We need veterans to companion our veterans and allow them to talk about their military expereince. They want to talk to someone who understands, who has been there. Brotherhood is very important to veterans.
They may have had a great experience and just want a buddy. Please become a companion to a fellow veteran. Hospice is about living, and we want to enrich all the days they have left.
Quality Hospice Care has recently achieved Level 4 in the "We Honor Veterans" program. This is the highest level a Hospice can reach by honoring and thanking our veterans for their service.

Description
Volunteers give their time and talents to provide companionship and socialization to hospice patients and their families. Volunteers may watch TV or movies, play cards or games, assist with meal preparation or just chat about current events or days gone by.
Volunteers are also needed in our administrative office to assist with filing, mailings and other general office duties.
Volunteers receive FREE orientation and ongoing education as well as the full support of the Volunteer Coordinator and the Interdisciplinary Team.
