Position Summary:
This program is currently not running, but we are accepting drivers for our waiting list when our transportation program starts up again.
Cancer Resource Center (CRC) Volunteers guide cancer patients, families and/or caregivers with cancer-related information and referrals to local, state and/or federal resources including American Cancer Society (ACS) programs and services. They work in the Cancer Center, and visit with patients in the CRC as well as in the infusion center to provide available resources and support. Volunteers are trained and informed on said resources and have a wealth of brochures and pamphlets in the CRC to meet the needs of patients and their loved ones.
