The San Francisco Arts Education Project runs an arts summer camp from June 18 through July 27, 2018. We are seeking photographers/videographers to help us capture the work of our students and their artist teachers.
Exploration camp (ages 6-9) features a revolving day that may include theater, dance, chorus and visual art. It's a different mix every day. This camp is on campus at Miralmoa Elementary School.
Broadway Bound camp (ages 9-14) helps students train to be a triple-threat musical theater performer: singer-dancer-actor. This camp is at the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts.
Art & Design (ages 10-14) offers three sessions of sculpture/ceramics, drawing/illustration and mixed-media visual arts. Fashion offers three sessions of fashion design. These camps are at Asawa School of the Arts (except Ceramics, Session 1, which is at Miraloma Elementary).
Seeking professional-level photography/videography to document the camp and for future use on the SFArtsED website, social media and printed materials.

Mission Statement
SFArtsED's mission is to provide participatory experiences in the arts to the children of San Francisco so they are better equipped to make use of their creative abilities in all aspects of their lives.
Description
SFArtsEd is distinguished by its array of arts programs for children that ignite and educate the imagination. Our organization holds steadfast to the belief that the investigation of the arts enriches the lives of young people as it promotes personal growth and a commitment to life long discovery. Based upon the philosophy of its founder, renowned artist Ruth Asawa, over 200,000 children have participated in SFArtsEd programs over the course of its forty-year history. Currently, six school-based programs connect professional artists with young people and bring to life our mission of providing participatory experiences in the arts to the children of San Francisco so they are better equipped to make use of their creative abilities in all aspects of their lives. Our programs are: artists-in-residence that places mid-career professional artists in academic year residencies in San Francisco public schools; ArtSummer-arts day camp for ages 6-17; The Players- after school musical theatre troupe for pre-teens; After School Extended Learning Program at Glen Park Elementary, visual arts exhibitions, and mentorships and internships for young adults and teaching artists.
