Mission Statement
Plowsharing Crafts is a Fair Trade organization helping artisans and craftspeople from the developing world by marketing their handiwork and telling their stories. We are priviledged to work with people in poverty or near-poverty situations throughout the world, and are dedicated to making sure they are paid fairly and are dealt with dignity.
Description
Plowsharing Crafts consists of 3 retail outlets in the St. Louis area, plus an expansive off-site sale program. We carry items such as jewelry, clothing, folk art, musical instruments, baskets, home accents, and personal accessorites, all made by hand by skilled artisans. Our goal is to make sure the people we serve are paid fairly and are dealt with in a dignified and consistent way.
