"If you can get someone to do my hair I would appreciate that very much." This is what we are looking for someone to volunteer and do.We have patients who are sick and very ill and would love it if someone made them look all pretty. You do not have to be a professional hair dresser, just someone that demonstrates they know what they are doing, able and willing.If you have community services hours and these skills this service would go towards the hours you need.

Hospice is a comprehensive program of medical care designed to address the physical , emotional and spiritual needs of patients with life-limiting illnesses and to provide support services for their family members. This care is provided by skilled, compassionate health care professionals and trained volunteers in the comfort of patient's homes, as well as nursing homes and special in-patient facilities. One of the primary objectives of hospice care is to help patients and family members be as comfortable as possible so they can truly live all the days of their lives.
