Global Paint for Charity Inc

Volunteers painted for GPC

Volunteering for Global Paint is a great way to give back and get connected to your community at large. The Global Paint for Charity needs volunteers to help us with a wide range of tasks. Shifts are just 3-4 hours per day, and every minute of your time will help us build a better future for vulnerable families, their children, and communities.

There are six exciting methods of helping out at Global Paint for Charity.

    1. Volunteer with us to help with our collections and consolidations of paint programs. Assemble and mix containers of paint by characteristics, types, brands, colors, and labels.
    1. You must be at least 16 years or older.
    2. Volunteer with us to inspect, count, store, and record paint inventory in the warehouse. Prepare containers of paint for shipping, usually 5 or 55 gallons.
    3. Volunteer with us to provide transportation to pick up paint from residents, local donation collections and bring it to us.

    1. Volunteer with our partners, who provide funding for our programs and donations through multiple fundraising efforts, including periodical paint donation drives, auctions, or special events.
    2. Volunteer as a Global Paint Board Member: creating service standards and policy and recommending funding for us.
    3. Volunteer with us to paint and make a difference in our community. There are dozens of paint project opportunities. We are currently accepting applications for the following volunteer-based projects to transform and beautify our city one mural at a time:
      • Outdoor home painting for residents that are physically and financially unable to paint the residence on their own.
      • Painting of common neighborhood areas can include wall painting, community parks, sidewalks, and Dividing Lanes.
      • I am painting a homeless shelter, repainting a historic cemetery and vacant houses.
      • Painting classrooms at a public school, stadiums, and much more.

Finally, our travel program targets high-achieving minority students and volunteers looking to gain global exposure or diverse experience abroad. Students or volunteers will work side by side with local community members in various small villages (areas that have no electricity, clean drinking water, access to the Internet, etc...) to paint and solve local problems. Traveling abroad to help beautify homes and communities for those in need worldwide is a fun and rewarding learning experience. Such experience also allows students to be competitive and stand out in the global market. If you would like to volunteer abroad, please contact our team at to get started.

About Global Paint for Charity Inc

Mission Statement

The Global Paint for Charity "Global Paint or GPC" is a Non-Governmental Organization designed to solve the logistics of paint waste in the U.S. and Canada to promote a more sustainable, healthier, and more beautiful and colorful environment around the world. Since 2010, as many as 320,000 tons of discarded paints have been removed from the waste stream, recycled, then shipped to 44 countries in West Africa, the Caribbean, Central & South America, and targeted cities right here in the U.S. The goal is to use colors to help beautify the local structures, boost people's confidence and happiness, change lives, and assist vulnerable individuals in reaching their full potential. Everyone wins!

Our efforts have reached a population of 13000000 and our worldwide volunteers have completed 625800 volunteer hours by painting beautiful murals, family homes including schools, sports centers, orphanages, churches, and homeless shelters. At Global Paint, we believe that everyone, no matter their circumstances, deserves to live in a beautiful and colorful environment. Increasing access to paint in underserved communities could improve the local economic power for millions of vulnerable families and uplift the spirit of the people.

Whether you’re a partner, donor, funder, or volunteer - we can do even more together.
