The Global Paint for Charity seeks individuals, strongly committed to our vision and mission, to participate in the leadership of our organization.
Your help will make a real difference to people's lives around the world and help eradicate the causes and effects of poverty and sanitation.
Volunteer with us to help with our collections and consolidations of paint programs. We pick up paint donations from local residences, businesses, retails, hotels, hospitals, distribution centers, apartment complexes or residential buildings. The program has two subprograms called ONE STOP PAINT DROP and ONE STOP PAINT DRIVE. Because of the word of mouth and amazing support from the MEDIA, we are able to partner with organizations such as Salvation Army, Goodwill, Home Depot, and Sherwin Williams in specific areas. Our volunteers visit these participating organizations once or twice a month to pick up donated paint and monetary donation. As a matter of fact, you can help us by asking retail and other organizations in your area if they participate or support the Global Paint programs.
Our drop-off locations may vary by retailer and participant, so please check with stores and organizations in your area. We also have frequent paint donation drives at local schools, churches, corporate buildings, and waste management agencies in certain areas. For information on collection sites or our next paint donation drive in your area, please email email@example.com. These programs and others are already underway, but we hope to partner with more organizations so that Global Paint for Charity can recycle more paints.
If you are interested in the above volunteer opportunity, please send your resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org with the position in the subject line. If your education and background are not in the above list, you can also send us your resume and cover letter and your wished position. We will consider your application according to our availability.
The Global Paint for Charity "Global Paint or GPC" is a Non-Governmental Organization designed to solve the logistics of paint waste in the U.S. and Canada to promote a more sustainable, healthier, and more beautiful and colorful environment around the world. Since 2010, as many as 320,000 tons of discarded paints have been removed from the waste stream, recycled, then shipped to 44 countries in West Africa, the Caribbean, Central & South America, and targeted cities right here in the U.S. The goal is to use colors to help beautify the local structures, boost people's confidence and happiness, change lives, and assist vulnerable individuals in reaching their full potential. Everyone wins!
Our efforts have reached a population of 13000000 and our worldwide volunteers have completed 625800 volunteer hours by painting beautiful murals, family homes including schools, sports centers, orphanages, churches, and homeless shelters. At Global Paint, we believe that everyone, no matter their circumstances, deserves to live in a beautiful and colorful environment. Increasing access to paint in underserved communities could improve the local economic power for millions of vulnerable families and uplift the spirit of the people.
Whether you’re a partner, donor, funder, or volunteer - we can do even more together.
