BLUE BERRY pick up - Fridays
We are looking for a volunteer who can drive their vehicle and pick up donated blueberries each Friday from Redwood City area and bring to Los Altos facility. The blueberries are enjoyed by our blue Victorian Crown pigeons and other exotic birds that require this specific fruit in their diet. Besides helping to feed our flock, you'll be working to keep foods still fit for avian consumption out of the landfill!
Heavy lifting could be required at times (example: 50# bags of bird seed).
You would be using your own vehicle.

We are dedicated to saving birds that are endangered in the wild or uncommon in aviculture.
Description
Pandenonium Aviaries is a bird sanctuary for exotic birds. We practice conservation aviculture which means that we breed endangered species in order to save them, not for sale.
In addition, we offer life long care for more than 300 birds, we provide education and inform about the value of birds and the need to save them.
