The Road to Recovery Program provides rides for cancer patients to and from their treatments. Volunteer drivers donate their time and use of their car to help cancer patients get to treatment. All you need is a current drivers license, a good driving record, a safe reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance. You can volunteer whenever it fits into your schedule, once a week or once a month. Rides are normally needed Monday through Friday between 8am - 5pm. It is a very rewarding way to make a difference in someone's life.

Mission Statement
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
Description
The American Cancer Society uses fund raising events including the Relay For Life to support our cancer fighting mission. We support this mission by providing cancer patients with programs that make their journey more managable, by lobbying our government to take action on cancer related issues, by being the second-leading financial backer of cancer research right behind the United States Government, and by educating the public about prevention and early detection.
