Event: The 7th Annual Sugar & Stilettos Bake Sale Extravaganza for Charity benefitting the Westside Food Bank! Saturday, May 13, 2017, 1pm-4pm.
Sugar & Stilettos is a grass roots organization committed to raising awareness and funds for community service programs dedicated to ending hunger and food insecurity in our own neighborhood and nationally. Since our inception in 2011, S & S has raised nearly $200,000.00. Our Mr. Sugar & Stilettos Crowning Ceremony is a highlight of the day!
Time commitment: Work a four/five hour shift...10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm.
Responsibilities: To help with either set-up or break down depending on shift. To work a booth/table selling baked goods, merchandise, gift certificates or silent auction items. Be willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Qualifications: Outgoing and enthusiastic personality. Willing to wear the S & S colors - hot pink, black & white. Ability to join in the FUN and spirit of the event!

Mission Statement
Westside Food Bank's mission is to provide as much nutritious food as possible to local agencies with food assistance programs and to reduce food waste in Western Los Angeles County.
Description
Since 1981, Westside Food Bank has provided food to local social service agencies serving low-income individuals and families.
We currently supply more than 70 agencies with a balanced variety of nutritious foods. Our member agencies come to our warehouse to pick up weekly food allotments, and/or receive food delivered from our Extra Helpings Westside prepared and perishable food rescue program. Our food reaches over 105,000 unduplicated individuals each year.
