We need a hand!
Won't you lend your hand as a volunteer?

Snohomish County has its own public radio station, KSER, 90.7fm. It is supported by contributions from listeners and businesses. They need to raise funds for operational purposes.

KSER does not receive any funding from the federal government. It is an independent, community owned radio station.

Do you have experience in business to business sales?

If you are retired, have experience in sales and want to put those skills to work again for a non-profit agency, this opportunity might be for you.

You call on businesses and develop relationships that may lead to fiscal support for the station.

You will work out in the community and keep a record of your activities, reporting your status and progress regularly to station management. Your personal and written commmunication skills must be effective. You would be responsible for developing your own leads and contacting decision makers at organizations and businesses.

It is not a requirement to have experience in sales.

If you believe independent public media is important this is your chance to demonstarate commitment to that ideal.

A Bachelors Degree and experience in media sales are preferred but not mandatory.
