ORGANIZATION: The Actors Theatre Workshop

Join this dynamic award-winning theater that writes and develops new plays and serves

homeless children. We seek experienced professionals who can take the lead on projects

and contribute to the many wide-ranging areas drawn upon to successfully run a theater.

Arts and theater management experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications:

The theater manager supervises the operations of the theater space. This individual must

possess good managerial skills and be able to interact with a variety of different people.

Responsibilities include overseeing all activities with rental clients, and working with our

volunteer corps. This position provides an excellent overview to the operations of the Actors

Theatre Workshop. Working full day or evening shifts is preferred.

Description

Founded over two decades ago, the Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit theatre that produces classical and contemporary plays, develops new dramatic works, trains and develops actors, directors and writers while making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth and the community at large. Thurman E. Scott, ATW's artistic director, Executive Producer and Founder, is a widely acknowledged expert of artistic project development, an innovator of award-winning arts curriculums and programs for proffessional artistic training, and has a long and successful history of public service to culturaly under-served communities.
