Women Living Well Ministries (WLWM) is dedicated to fulfilling the ministries' mission. We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who is an experienced volunteer professional to be responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships through networking, marketing, and community outreach activities. This position will work to develop partnerships/sponsorships/business arrangements and relationships with community friends, faith communities, community businesses, and other organizations interested in supporting Women Living Well Ministries’ general operations and ministry programs and events.

Serving as a volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is gifted in strategic thinking and passionate about fostering relationships with community partners & donors, to assist with the development of further growing this organization and strengthening women growing in their faith, as well as, equipping and empowering women ministry leaders to fulfilling their call to building disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Community Outreach position is one that is flexible and could be managed by one who has an already full-time position where the work is completed after hours of a daily work schedule; there is also flexibility around scheduled vacations. The position is needed to volunteer 10 to 12 hours a week for one year (or longer if desired). There is also flexibility with working from home, but candidate will need to have their own computer.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with WLWM leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative community outreach plan targeting individual, private, corporate, churches and other ministry organizations.

  • Work collaboratively and seamlessly with staff to identify new potential ministry relationships and partnerships with community friends, faith communities, community business friends and partners, and other ministry partners.

  • Determine potential partners relevant to WLWM through ongoing research and evaluation, and cultivate those prospects that best align with WLWM’ strategic short-term and long-term priorities and needs.

  • Solicit grants, gifts, and sponsorships from new and continuing partners.

  • Submit proposals to engage potential partners on behalf of WLWM in a timely and consistent manner. This includes developing concepts, gathering and formatting information and preparing clear communications.

  • Research and assist in developing plans for expanding WLWM presence, as well as, execute those plans and strategies.

  • Work closely with President, Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Design Coordinator, Web Development Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Director of Strategic Development, and the Board of Directors in marketing and promoting ministries programs/events/fundraising efforts to community at large.

Candidate will need to possess the following skills: excellent communication skills - both oral and written, be well organized and very detailed oriented, works as a team player/leader, enjoys serving alongside volunteers, has compassion towards others, high degree of integrity, proficient in Microsoft Office software - Word and have a strong biblical foundation and knowledge of the Bible.

Encouraged preferences: Enjoy being creative, knowledge for performing internet based research and an ability to coordinate and lead community meetings. The ideal candidate will bring a philanthropic lens to the strategic planning and decision-making for cultivating community relationships. This individual is encouraged to have prior nonprofit/ministry experience and 2+ years of business/development experience; marketing experience highly desirable. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Women Living Well Ministries desires to see women (and men) discover and fully experience their call and purpose to serve the living God. We serve women who desire to mature in their Christian faith and assist both women in the church and women ministry leaders to strengthen leadership and spiritual gifts as they serve and build God's Kingdom. We commit to faithfully teach sound biblical doctrine of the Word of God.

Women Living Well Ministries (WLWM) partners with local churches to create a venue where women can be taught the Word of God and grow in their faith. We serve alongside church ministerial staff and congregations either as a consultant, a teacher, and/or as a resource to partner alongside with hosting retreats and/or conferences that focus on studying the Word of God and how to have a deeper fellowship with the living God.

WLWM is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to foster and support the gifts and talents of volunteers and staff who serve alongside one another in forming a nonprofit team promoting, equipping and empowering excellence to those we serve and partner alongside within the community at large.
