Did you know that 1 in 5 children in King County struggles with hunger? The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of King County is seeking older adults to help feed our community through one of the following opportunities:

  • Community Dining: Help prepare and serve meals for seniors through a community dining volunteer experience.
  • Nutrition Education: Assist in cooking, nutrtion, or gardening classes.
  • Food Pantry Support: Volunteer at a local food bank!
  • Food Delivery: Deliver meals or groceries to homebound individuals.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Solid Ground meets critical community needs in King County by encouraging and supporting volunteering for people 55 and older. RSVP is part of Senior Corps, a federally funded national service program. RSVP makes volunteering easy and rewarding by finding volunteer positions for people 55 and older and providing ongoing support during their service.
