Marketing Expert Needed for Small Animal Rescue!

Our grassroots nonprofit animal rescue is desperately seeking a marketing expert to dive in and whip our public presentation into shape!! We don’t have anyone with career experience in promoting, and even though we’ve been successfully sharing our Orphans for 9 years, we can still admit our shortcomings and areas that need more expertise. WE NEED YOU! We’re looking for a committed volunteer with enough time and passion to join our leadership team. You’d be working closely with several other pawesome volunteers who keep Wagging Dog Rescue running on the daily. We stay in touch via email, text, phone. 2020 has been an incredibly busy year for WDR and we’ve learned to put our technology to work for us and the critters. (That said, we know there’s always room for improvement!) Our Marketing Director (MD) would be responsible for timely communication with the rest of the leadership team. We also need this person to craft posts for social media - 1 to 2 posts per day max (posts can be scheduled in advance). Proficiency with Google Drive, Dropbox, Instagram, and Facebook required to help get our critters into forever homes! We also need our MD to join our monthly Zoom meetings where it’s so good to catch up with the Team in live action. (We have the BEST people. Join us, you won’t regret it.) Someone who has the time and energy to be actively and daily involved; who has the passion and interest to learn about our animals, our work, and our public supporters.
