Help Textile Center prepare for our 20 th annual World's Largest Textile Garage Sale! We are in need of volunteers to help make this event a success as talliers, cashier assistants, loaders, floor helpers, zero waste assistants, and other tasks.

Our Garage Sale takes place at the University of MN ReUse Center. Volunteer shifts are available on Thursday, April 16 th, and Saturday, April 18 th. Thursday is our donation day, when we’ll be unloading vehicles and sorting/pricing donated materials. If you like organizing or finding hidden gems at the rummage sale, this day is for you! Saturday is our Big Sale day - we’ll need help keeping merchandise organized, tallying customer purchases, and greeting guests. Saturday volunteers are invited to attend the Friday Preview Sale for free! If you would like to stash any sale items, your selections will be held until after the completion of your volunteer shifts on Saturday.

It's a win-win situation for everyone: individuals and businesses donate textiles and related items that might otherwise be bound for the landfill, shoppers are able to purchase anything and everything from yarn, fabric, tools, notions, looms, sewing machines, and so much more - all at affordable prices! Textile Center earns money to support our mission of honoring textile traditions, promoting excellence and innovation, and inspiring widespread participation in fiber art.
