Please come out and help us with a Fall clean-up. Many volunteers are needed throughout the day! We will have three shifts which include 9:00am-12:00pm, 11:00am-3:00pm, and 2:00-5:00pm. Please indicate your availability (you can select more than one time slot; if you are flexible with time on that day, this will help us fill the most jobs!) and any restrictions. We do need as many or even more volunteers in the later time slots as in the earlier ones, as some jobs cannot be started until others are completed.

Description
Hero Dogs staff and volunteers train dogs to assist Veterans and First Responders with physical limitations and/or mobility issues, hearing loss, mental health disorders, or combinations of these. A Hero Dog reduces their partner's reliance on other people by doing tasks that they cannot do alone. A dedicated service dog can give their partner the confidence and support to travel outside the home independently, (re)join the workforce, and accomplish the everyday tasks of living.
