We are looking for some "Star Volunteers" to add to our incredible volunteer team!

Our Star Volunteers enhance the visitor experience and promote the City of Ventura by providing information on the accommodations and attractions in the city, as well as points of interest in the region.
We are currently looking for week-end support and on-call volunteers. If you like meeting people and working in a fun and exciting environment, come check us out!

It is the mission of the Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau to promote Ventura as a coastal destination providing contemporary amenities in an historic and cultural setting for the benefit of the community.

Description

The Ventura Visitors and Convention Bureau (VVCB) creates tourism demand for the City of Ventura, California, fueling the City's economy with new revenue created by visitors. This revenue keeps hundreds of businesses open, thousands of people employed and helps grow the General Fund from which the City Council allocates funds for public safety, public works and quality of life issues for the residents.

The staff and volunteers of the Visitors Bureau takes pride in the role the Bureau plays in the prosperity, health and vitality of the City.
