The Settlement Home for Children is a nonprofit organization that has been providing an environment that promotes healing and growth for children and young adults in the foster care system for over 100 years. Many of our children come from "hard places" and have seldom experienced being in a safe home during the holidays. This is why it means so much to us to help make this time of year special.
We hope that you will join us this season and ask when shopping for holiday gifts this season, please keep The Settlement Home for Children in mind. We would be delighted if you can help our organization by donating gift bags, wrapping paper, clothes, monetary assistance or by sponsoring child's wish list this holiday season.
If you would like to sponsor a child's holiday wish list please email the Volunteer Manager at chenning@settlementhome.org to learn more and sign up.
From everyone here at the Settlement Home for Children, we wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season.
Sincerely,
Catherine Henning
