Join us on Saturday, April 19, at Cannery Square for our Annual Trashpalooza! The City of Sherwood's Earth Day Celebration. Meet at Cannery Square at 10:00am, each group will be given a predetermined area, go out and clean your designated area, then come back to Cannery Square at 11:30am for festivities. We will have contest (strangest piece of trash, largest piece of trash, etc), prizes and a raffle at the end.
Put a team together (up to ten people) or anyone is welcome to register as an individual and we will add you to a team. All ages welcome.
Register at http://www.sherwoodoregon.gov/trashpaloozaPlease sign a waiver available at http://www.sherwoodoregon.gov/trashpalooza and bring it to the event. **If your minor child is coming with another adult or alone (if 14 or older) please sign the attached Project Consent Waiver. Your child will not be able to volunteer without this signed by a parent/guardian**

Description
The Community Services Department encompasses the Library, Sherwood Center for the Arts, Marjorie Stewart Senior/Community Center, the Sherwood Old Town Field House operations, volunteer services, field and gym scheduling, and the coordinating and planning of various cultural activities and events. The Community Services Department is responsible for planning and implementing recreation and cultural activities, volunteer services, and coordinating events such as Music on the Green and acting as a liaison to the YMCA and other community groups.
