This event is a pre-Easter education day to teach families about rabbits. The main message is that rabbits are not Easter toys, but many people coming will already know that. We will also be getting information out about our rabbit welfare organization and will be holding fundraiser activities to raise money for abandoned rabbits.
Starting at 1, we'll be setting up tables for arts and crafts, educational displays about rabbits, and sales tables. There will be a few rabbits present as well, and their areas have to be set up.
The event starts at 2 and we have the Youth Center from 1 on so we have to set up fast!
During the event from 2-5, we'll need greeters and people to help with showing kids how to do the arts and crafts.
At 5, we'll immediately start packing up so that we are all cleaned up by 6.
