LifeWorks is the youth mentoring and leadership development part of the Los Angeles LGBTQ, and we a re currently looking for people who have experience with group facilitation and an eagerness to work with youth ages 12-24.
Our program, StepUp, is a youth group that provides an opportunity for peers to relate to one another, in an open safe space in order to discuss anything going on in their life: ie/ school, relationships, family. It allows peers to talk with one another and help to guide each other through every day problems. These youth-inspired groups are a great place for new members of LifeWorks!
Our groups are held on Tuesdays 4pm-6pm, Wednesdays 3:30pm-5:30pm and Thursdays 4pm-6pm.
