Volunteer with your spouse, friend, significant other. Go as a team to spend time with a lonely patient to brighten their day or give a break to their caregiver. Volunteer in your local community reading to a patient, singing to them, watching old movies together. Play cards or a board game, watch sports on TV. Sit with a paitent outside to get fresh air. Volunteer one to four hours one time a week making a hugh difference in someones life. Training and orientation provided. No cost to you. The most precious gift you have to give is your time. You will come away blessed!
