It is a volunteer opportunity that welcomes patients, families and visitors as they enter the hospital. The Ambassadors offer directions, and provide escorting assistance. Ambassadors provide information to visitors/family members regarding the hospital's facilities and ammenities available in the community. The program provides a friendly and welcoming environment. We ask ambassadors to serve 3 hours per session per week. The hours are available between Monday- Friday from 9-4pm. This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service experience, good communication skills and a desire to interact with the public. Some computer knowledge necessary. It is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in health care and being involved with a large organizations. It provides an opportunity to improve communication skills and be in contact with the public. Supervision and training are provided.
